Mischa Porte is a professional drummer based in The Netherlands. He has performed/recorded with Pitou, Luwten, Douwe Bob, Daniël Lohues, Wouter Planteijdt, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Ruben Hein, néomí, Herman van Veen, Judy Blank, Morris Kliphuis and many others.
From joining an African drum group at the age of 6, performing and recording with multiple bands by the age of 14, he went on to study drums at the Pop department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
Recording
From big sounding to delicate. Pop songs to movie scores and experimental instrumentals. Mischa always finds a part that elevates the music. His unique approach found it’s way onto recordings for hundreds of artists.
Teaching
Whether it’s your first time behind a drum set or you’ve been doing it for years, Mischa always finds a way to get your playing to the next level. Mainly focussed on musical applications, he can not only help develop your technique, but also your musical instinct.
